review 1: If you pick this book up please know it is in fact thinly disguised smut. I enjoyed it & am looking forward to book 2. Although if I honest I'd tell you it ended in a cliff hanger in the middle of an adventure scenes & I care less. I read it for the smut. Although I stuck it with a -1 star for the cliff hanger but ended up +1 one bc it's the 1st book in a series as such I always give a pass. Resulting in a 2.5 score. I always round up. I'm nice that way. =-)
review 2: I was hooked to this book from the start. Zoey has such an attitude and I loved every part of her character as well as Team R. Declan and his crew I also love. It is a perfect match for everyone and they all get along with a ton of sarcasm and swearing. This book had me laughing and feeling for Z... moreoey the whole way. As soon as I started I couldn't put the book down. Lizzy does it again. I am glad I found Lizzy on Twitter without that I would never have known to read her books. I have not been let down once and this one I believe has become one of my favorites from her. When I hit the last page without realizing it I immediately went to look for when the next book came out. Read this book. It has action, sex, sarcasm, and crazy meltdowns. Lots going on and figuring out what it truth and what isn't. I cannot wait to see what is next in store for this little Zoey. *Re-read for the release of Zoey Avenger next week. Again I loved this book. I forgot how good it is and how much I have been wanting to read the next book. I will probably end up reading Zoey Avenger in one sitting. I love Declan and it still makes me mad that he slept with another girl like come on read the signs. I really hope Zoey can get past it though. It wasn't his fault just like it wasn't her fault for the certain things that happened when she drank the energy drink. less
