review 1: So, I was really pumped for this book. But the plot was inconsistent, and had a lot of holes....half the time you had to re-ready pages several times to realize that time was jumping with no other indication. The characters were too damn sappy for "hating each other" and the main character who was suppose to be a badass, is really just a pansy who knows how to kill. It was so bad, and so predictable that I couldn't even make it all the way through. Also this "sex-magic" its not going to catch on, I don't need half the books word count to be "sex-magic", I got it the first few hundred times. I wouldn't occupy your tie with this read.
review 2: If you want to read a book where you have no idea what is going on, then this is the book for you. I finished the book
... moreunderstanding the sex scenes, that the were soul bond, she kills a lot and that she drink some crazy energy drink that flips her into über killer mood that she later can't recall. Oh and for some reason the author has not figured out that the plural of succubus/incubus is not succubusses/incubusses. It drove me absolutely bug nuts! Thank god there was not a scene with geese/mice in it or I may been subjected to gooses/mouses.Full disclosure, I will likely read the next book simply to assuage my curiosity. I have to know if the follow up will be coherent or read like a half remember dream like this book. It really was a pretty good idea for a story, but there was just too much left unexplained to be a great book. less

It was okay, it had funny parts, but felt overly contrived
