review 1: Fate's Design is a cute summer read. Who would not want to go to Italy for a vacation. Sights and all the sun and food you can get your hands on sounds like the perfect vacation to me. Then add a sprinkle or two of romance and you have one hot read! Lola James did an excellent job describing Italy and all the romance it has to offer. Then she through in for good measure a little romance that started off slow and stayed that way. There was no insta love where the girl goes on vacation and she meets Mr tall, dark, and handsome and has to have him more than life. No this was gradual and I loved that Lola James did that because it made the romance so much more believable.Megan is going to Italy to visit her twin sister Morgan. She needs a vacation and she wants to see her sist... moreer. So she travels to Italy and once there she is enjoying her sister and all the sights. Then she meets Alex who is every girls fantasy because he is tall, dark and definitely handsome! As things progress with Alex and Megan she starts to have these weird dreams. At first she is not sure what to make of them but as they begin to reveal things Megan realizes she has dreamed about these places and these people she is seeing. What does it mean? Who can she trust? Why does she feel like she already knows Alex?As things fall into place and Megan can't help but be attracted to Alex things will come to light and when she speaks to her twin Morgan and finds out something is up with her sister she can't help but think things are about to change and she is not sure if it will be good or bad. This is a great romance story with a kick of paranormal. You will thoroughly enjoy this story so give Alex and Megan and Morgan a go you will not be disappointed!
review 2: This story is a mostly sweet “vampire” romance with a bit of a love triangle twist. The story certainly keeps me guessing and ends with an episodic cliff-hanger. The only thing I find confusing is the two main girl characters’ names are Megan and Morgan. Yes, they were twins, but it is hard to distinguish which is which for a bit in the beginning. Aside from that minor detail, this book is a nice, light read compared to most vampire stories out there.*I received a free copy of this book from the author for the RomCon Review Team. less
