review 1: I wanted to like this book so much more than I actually did. I loved the characters of Olivia and Peregrine from Lord Perfect (Carsington Brothers #3) and was very much looking forward to reading their story. I was disappointed by how much they can't stop fighting! Can't stop fighting their love! there was in this story. I wanted more of the we-know-we're-perfect-for-each-other-but-it-just-won't-work discussions (like in the first Dressmaker book). All in all, it was a fun book, I loved the castle in Scotland storyline, I was just bummed a bit by how not frank they were with each other.
review 2: For this ample time, i decided to try something new. to discover new writer. :) MY first impression for this book is it was a common type of romance book. but after go... morene through with it, the impression change vice versa. this books is a mixture of romance, and thriller. love the characters of Olivia. A brave young girl who always make us surprised with her action. and because of her, I continue this journey until the end of the story. This writer's books will be my next collection of ancient, historical classic shelves. less
