review 1: I liked this book i really did. I liked the characters, especially Avan. And i liked the ending because it has closure as a book but leaves you wanting to see what happens in the next. Actually the only think i didn't like was the universe and the "physics" of everyone's powers because i honestly didn't understand how it all worked. I still have so many questions and i hope i will get answers in the next one.
review 2: When I started reading this book I thought 'this is good, its going to lead up to something cool'...then I kept thinking that...and thinking that... until I realized that somehow this book is like reading all of the in between parts of a good book. I really wanted to like it but nothing really cements you into the story for the first 3/4ths of th... moree book. There was so much, so fast that when the climax came, it was cool, but I didn't care about any of the characters when I got to it. There was just something missing in this book for me. I did like the cliffhanger though. less
