review 1: Porny and crude, and not in a good way. The word "bitch" must appear 50 times every chapter*, including male lead's first appearance, when he grabs the female lead by the hair and says "Where do you think you're going, little bitch?" When this sort of scene happens in a book, the guy is usually not the hero.Yes, I know it means a female canid. But its other meaning is more common, and not very nice.DNF at 30%.[*I wasn't off by much - I did a Kindle search and it in fact appears 283 times over 236 pages.]

... moreat I was missing plot points, looking for the next mention. (I wonder if I can do a count of how many times the word is used?...)That aside, I just couldnt get engaged in characters. The plot had potential - pack is decimated by an attack, there aren't enough females to go around, male wolf wants to claim his female wolf before the mean pack leader forces her to mate with others. less
