review 1: I thought this was a very good story. The author does a good job intertwining the main character's search for information from the past and how she lives in the present. I was intrigued by the job she obtains working at a TV network, and I enjoyed reading about how she set up a life for herself in New York. The people she met, things she did, and on top of all that, dealing with the demanding ghost in her life.
review 2: I was lent this book by an 'Italian' friend of mine who was having trouble reading it and she wanted to know if it was just her or if I would have problems too. (I think that she has forgotten that English is my mother tongue) .. any way .. the title 'The Ghost of Greenwich' sort of put me off the book and I wasn't in too much of a hurry to p
... moreick this up.She tried giving me this book to read around Christmas and then finally brought it to my house a couple of weeks ago. I was hesitant because I imagined that it would probably be a book along the lines of 'Ghost' the film starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore and although I enjoyed the movie I wouldn't want to read the book. But boy was I ever wrong. The story line caught my attention from page one and 24 hrs later I was done the book ! It was a really GREAT story and not difficult to understand at all for someone with upper intermediate or advanced English less
