review 1: I thought this book rather historically inaccurate and the characters weren't particularly memorable. Charlotte seemed too modern and I, like Joel wanted to push her down the stairs. None of the characters acted at all Edwardian. The cooking themes were interesting but once again Charlotte annoyed me to death with her pushiness. She is far too bossy for my tastes. Its an ok beach read as long as don't take it too seriously.
review 2: Loved this book, it picks up with Charlotte about 2 years after Hannah and Lincoln wedding and after she's finished cooking school. All about here journey trying to get a position in a kitchen and helping hospitals serve better food. Along the way she meets a doctor who likes control and needs everything to be in it's place and a l... moreaid back singer but who will she choose!!! Can't wait for Tessa's book!!!! less
