review 1: 4.5 Stars. I love these books! They're sexy and funny. Good mysteries with a nice hint paranormal because of Andy's gift of finding lost things. This one particularly left me swoony because the guys have to face their feelings for each other. The first book is basically two shorts following the same couple. Both very good. This one is one story and longer. Highly recommend both. Must be read in order.
review 2: Lately I haven't been reading many sequels or books in series one after the other. I usually take a break - meaning sometimes I never get to #2 (Case in point: The Cut & Run Series). I just finished up Dead in LA a few days ago and I knew I had to read this one. Harper is one of my most fave authors. This series is not a huge page fest but it gets the po... moreint across. In a way I feel like it is sort of meandering with purpose - if that's possible. It's about the characters with the plot providing you an avenue to continue your exploration of just where Jon and Lea are going to go. I want more!! less
