Growing up, I watched a bunch of weirdly awesome anime while reading a bunch of spooky mystery titles. So, your guess is as good as mine as to why I’ve never read Ready Player One. Truthfully, I’ve been grappling with reading Ready Player One for about six years? In the year 2044, an energy crisis has crippled the world. Created by an enigmatic leader, OASIS has hidden puzzles and Easter eggs based on 80s pop-culture sprinkled throughout the game. Anyone who can unlock all the puzzles will be amass to an incredible fortune and total control of the OASIS. When Wade finds his first clue, he realizes that many others are willing to do anything to unlock them, including kill him. Will he survive the twisted world of Oasis and unlock the treasure, to escape the real world he’s so desperate to escape?
