review 1: 4.5 Star Review by Jen SkewesThis is the second book in this series which I love! When I finished reading A Week in New York I could not wait to get my hands on Autumn in London. I needed to know what would happened with Ethan and Anna. Would they somehow find their way back to each other? Would the both be able to break their rules to be with each other. At the end of A Week in New York Anna went back home to London and both her and Ethan promised to ever look back. What they had together was just a week and nothing more. Now a few months later and Ethan is on his way to London for work. Ever sine that amazing week he spent with Anne he has not be able to get her out of his mind. He’s never felt this way about a woman and at times questions if he should even t... morery to find her while he is there. Anna and Ethan do meet again but now that he is in London for 3 months Anns is afraid of what might happen in those 3 months. Will she start to develop feelings for him, will she end up getting hrt in the end. But regardless of any reservations that she may have they agree to just live in the moment for the nest three months. That all sounds fine and dandy until that day comes and you are not sure that you can just say goodbye that easily. What will happen when the 3 months are up. Can they make a long distance relationship work? I just fell in love with Ethan and Anna. And to be honest it did not take very long at all. I just love the passion between the two of them. They are extremely hot and sexy together but what I loved about this book is that yes there was a lot of sex but it was not overdone at all. This is a novella series but never did I feel that their relationship was too rushed. We get the perfect balance of emotion and sexiness from the two of them. You know exactly how they feel each other. You can feel every emotion with them as well as the passion between the two of them. I am so rooting for the two of them to make this work. I cannot wait for the final installment in this series. This series is a must read and one that I am loving!
review 2: Anna Kirby went to New York for one week, with the intention to heal her broken heart. But the world had different plans for her. Ethan, a casual distraction who turned into her every thought. Her week was over and as she headed back to London, a piece of her heart would remain in New York with him. Ethan Scott never intended that his life style was about to make a drastic turn, everything he knew would be different, the player lifestyle, didn’t look so appealing. He would see and feel what he has been missing. Or would he be facing the same obstacles? Distance and living in two different worlds will never work.A fascinating exploration of rich characters and meaningful dialog. I was filled with emotion from giddy, with a silly smile on my face to fears that I would be feeling the heartbreak along with the characters.I loved this book, the series, due to this Authors Rich writing style and unique story telling. I related deeply to the genuine dilemmas the characters were going through. I highly recommend this series and I’m anxiously awaiting the conclusion in January. Autumn in London is the second part of The Empire State Series, a series of three novellas.Follow up to A Week in New York. less
