review 1: This was another winner from Ms. Rice! The California setting of a family owned lemon orchard that brings Julia, her dog Bonnie & Roberto together was perfect. I was caught up in Roberto and his six year old daughter Rosa's journey from Mexico to the United States five years ago. The common thread between Roberto & Julia, is the loss of their respective daughters and how they help each other heal. It was a very moving story and I would highly recommend it!
review 2: I always enjoy reading Luanne Rice novels. They seem to get better and better. So many emotions were involved from the very beginning of this story, and for so many different reasons.
