review 1: I wasn't expecting the graphic element of certain things and was shocked at the detail of the Crime committed.. But what did i expect from clearly a great written Crime Novel. This book terrified me. It was very well written in my opinion and enabled me to get right into the story as if i was a part of it. The ending did not disappoint at all and im curious to read another. This was book 2 in the DI Corrigan series and i never read the first Cold Killing although it didnt matter, it was a good read and i would read the next one 4/5*
review 2: I love Luke Delaney's books. He writes really well, making the reader really care for his characters. In his latest effort, we wonder what Anna is up to, we feel for Sally after the attack but mainly we worry about Sean. A... more flawed policeman at the heart of a investigation is nothing new in crime novels but D.I Corrigan is something extra special. I think he is one of my favourite Detectives, along with Chris Carter's Robert Hunter. less
