review 1: I was really turned off by all the references to the h being like a child - the H thinks she's a small girl/child when he meets her, endless references to how little she is (little wife, little bottom, little hands, little thing, little nose, little girl, little nipples, tiny little belly button, little fists, little butt, little breasts... It was used so often I started reading it as "widdle"), to her looking like a small boy when she has her arms over her head, the H speaking to the h like a toddler ("And what do we do when we need help?"), the H going nuts over her bald "area"... And normally calling the h "baby" doesn't bug me at all, but with all the rest of it, it started to feel squicky. Added to his quick rescue marriage of her and the constant parenting of her wit... moreh her mental issues, it felt like their relationship was unhealthy. She was so infantilized, the sex felt jarring to me.
review 2: I think a huge part of this book spoke to me because of Liberty's issues with OCD, something I suffer from myself. I did not know exactly how this book was going to go when it started out. I didn't know what to expect. However, this book is one of those books that starts out with two separate couples and slowly develops into a completely full circle menage relationship, each person giving the other two something that they need and no person being left out. It was a really amazing story and was written so well with the setting and the character development thoroughly explored on all three people. I would recommend this story for anyone that enjoys stories about true menage relationships with a lot of really hot sex scenes, romance, family drama and light BDSM. A must-read for all menage fans. less
