review 1: I wasn't really digging this story to begin with, but it was ok, perhaps a solid three star; I was semi-interested in seeing how the storyline played out for the characters. That all changed at the author's use of the phrase "right wing nut job." Since we all know that is code for "any Republican" I just want to sincerely thank the author for calling a portion of her readers "nut jobs" for having political disagreements with her. I'm curious just what kind of "right wing nut job" has a soon-to-be-married gay man working for his campaign, as does the Senator for whom this description was used? Because I have no further interest in reading any further in this story, I've no idea if the Senator goes on to do or say anything that is over-the-top objectionable (which I'm su... morere would be laid out in a cartoon villain kind of way), but it is totally offensive to me for the author to use such divisive and ignorant language to describe the part of the country who votes differently than she does. If politics had to be at the center of this storyline, I believe it was possible to use generic descriptions. The tolerance...wish it was as thick as the irony.
review 2: Its definitely sad to see the Witman U stories come to an end, but damn does Payne know how to go out with a bang (no pun intended). When i first saw Sebastien in Quinn and Emily's story, im not going to lie, i thought he was a creepy sleaze ball. But as i read more of the series, i kinda hoped he would find someone to turn into a better person! Living the Dream was awesome, it didn't turn him into a new person, but made him less sociopath-y and im not going to lie, i totally loved him! less
