review 1: I liked these more than most of the romance collections I've picked up. It wasn't a slow build up romance. They really dove right into hot and heavy. Reviews warned that the male main character was VERY alpha male and they weren't kidding. This was right up my alley but if extremely dominant men offend you, I don't recommend it. Of the 3 books in this collection I liked the eroticism in the third the most. The plot however made me a little crazy just because the alpha male is trying to drive the heroine out of her job which is completely unacceptable behavior. I would find someone messing with my career totally unforgivable regardless of how good the sex turns out to be.
review 2: These three stories are about woman who fall for alpha males. Each of the the men... more in these stories see their woman as the key to their heart but the only way they know how to show it is to take charge and protect. In seduced by the American Millionaire Richard sees Jenny sitting there all alone in his bar he knows he should stay away from her but the pull is to much. Jenny feels the pull to Richard but does not understand it and runs from it. Little does she know Richard does not give up that easily. Richard is very take charge but knows how to be incredibly tender to Jenny as well. In Blackmailed into bed Amy has some car trouble one night and the one man she has been trying to avoid is none other than officer Jake Fontenot. Jake has been attracted to Amy since the first time he did his D.A.R.E. presentation in her class but she gives the impression that she is married and that is line Jake will not cross. However when Amy's car breaks down Jake learns that Amy is not married at all and he make sure the time he has wanted to spend with her changes now. This is a great story about a very alpha male and a woman scared of being hurt again. The final book in this set is bedded by the boss. This one made me laugh when Renee started a new job she was looking for better pay to help with her daughters expenses in college what she didn't expect would be the attraction she feels for her incredibly hunky boss Robert Thibodeaux. Robert wants Renee but he has a strict no fraternizing policy so what is his plan get her to quit. Renee is equally determined to hold on to her job though at times she is not sure why. This book is a crazy series of events that make you laugh and make you want to smack Robert but in the end each of these women get exactly what they might not know they wanted but definitely are happy with the results. less
