review 1: This one left ALOT to be desired. First let me tell you a BIG BIG pet peeve......EDITING ERRORS. The fact that an author/publisher or editor, lets a book be marketed with as many continuity errors and just mixed up sentences as this book has is just SAD! It tells me that none of the above have any respect for their craft or their reader. In saying that I did complete the book anyway, even though every time I hit an error, and there were MANY, it totally ruined what little bit of enjoyment I was getting from the story. It had potential, could have been a funny, enjoyable read if anyone, author/ publisher/ editor, cared to take the time to proofread and maybe fix the errors.
review 2: This was a fast paced quick read....a little short for my usual taste, but th... moreen anything under 300 pages seems short to me. :-). Anyways....the 2 main characters were always hot and heavy, and trying to stay in hiding as the heroine was human and not shifter. Towards the end of the book the plot thickened as the hero told her why most of the townspeople were not inclined to accept a human mate for the alpha and just when it seemed like she would just leave him, she found proof that what the other townspeople thought had happened with the previous alpha and his human mate was not even close to what had really happened and everything feel into place from there. I would be greatly interested in reading more about this steaming hot couple in the future. less
