review 1: In a way, this story is a bit mysterious. It is definitely non fiction. This story is about a girl who comes back after a long from summer vacation very excited to see her boyfriend again. The problem is the first day when she gets back she receives the heartbreaking news that her boyfriend wants to break up with her. She is filled up with questions and thoughts. Later that night she meets up with a girl at a graveyard. The girl explains to her their secret society called, secret sisterhood of heartbreakers. They are given the power to make any guy they wish fall in love with them. That is an offer most girls wouldn't decline, so of course she took the offer. This isn't as perfect as it sounds. After playing around with the guy a little bit they must break the guy's heart.... more Of course Lucy uses this chance to win back her former boyfriend. To find out if she ends up breaking his heart or not you need to read the book. This book is really good because it has the perfect amount of suspense and detail. If you like non fiction, drama, and a bit of mystery and romance , this is perfect for you. This book is written towards the age group of teens. If you read the book Im sure you'll enjoy it.
review 2: I would have never thought that this book would have contained a magical element to it. I didn't get that vibe when I read the back of it! Reading the book made me feel like I was reading a story about boys and magic, with a group of girls loosely based on The Plastics (Mean Girls). I did find Lucy to be annoying and I thought Liza was extremely rude and crass. I also wasn't fond of how Lucy had this strong inability to get over Alex. It seemed to be a little stalker-ish... And at times, she made me want to punch her in her face. After getting through the first one, and reading the first pages of the second book... I am curious to find out what happens with Lucy and Tristan.... less
