review 1: I loved the plot twist toward the end! It wasn't entirely a surprise, but it really got my heart pumping. Ellie misses her older sister Nina, who walked out on the family two years ago and hasn't been heard from since. She's tried to move on with her life, but she can't get over losing Nina. While rummaging through a box of stuff at a local thrift store, she finds one of her sister's drawings along with a phone number. Around that same time, she also meets a sweet new guy who's sympathetic to her situation and eager to help her find her sister. So the two embark on a road trip following the clues that Nina left behind.
review 2: Ellie's sister Nina vanished two years ago and Ellie's almost given up on finding her. But then she uncovers a new clue and goes on a
... moreroad trip across the country with her new crush Sean. This book is an excellent example of "Don't judge a book by its cover". The cover appears to be from a book about teenage drama queens and dirty little secrets, but it's actually a suspenseful and surprising read. Ellie isn't always the smartest heroine, but the tight plotting and strength of her desire to find her sister propels the book along. A good vacation read. less

I like this book, but gave it a 2, because it's not that interesting. The book is mostly for teens.
