review 1: A so-so book. I wasn't a huge fan of Sergei - he was a little too unwilling to change for my tastes. For that matter, while Alissa did stand up for herself on occasion, she was a total doormat when it came to her sister. We also didn't get to see the the two of them actually fall in love...it's just assumed that it happened in the 3 weeks after their wedding...It was at least an entertaining read.
review 2: This was a good book. It didn’t take me long to read it. Sergei loved his grandmother. He would do anything for her, including get married, to give her, her first grandchild. He had been married once. The way the marriage ended made him distrustful of all females. He thought he would treat a new marriage like a business arrangement. He had contracts dre
... morew up, and had people apply for the job.Alexa applied for the job, but used her sister’s name, on the application. They are twins. They grew up sharing most everything. So why can’t she use her sister’s education to better herself, and put herself above the other’s that would apply? When she was selected, she asked her sister to Alissa to take the job. Alexa admitted that she forged her sister’s name, and they could both be in big trouble if she didn’t go through with it. Alexa also told her sister that she was pregnant, and was going to marry Harry. If her twin couldn’t take the job, she would have no choice but to abort the baby, and follow through with the job/marriage. Alissa loved her family and would do anything for them. So she had no choice but to go through with the fake marriage to Sergei.I really enjoyed this book because Sergei was never a jerk. The things he thought he wanted in a wife, was way off the mark. He feel in love with all the little things that Alissa did. None of the other woman he had ever dated cared if an employee was sick. They sure wouldn’t get dirty to save a puppy. She had a big heart, and he was thankful for the twin that became his wife for real. less

Me hubiera gustado que la autora alargara un poquito más la historia, pero aún así me encantó.

Lynne does an amazing job with setting and writing a full story in a short book format.
