review 1: 1-1/2 stars. This was a bit tiresome. There was nothing different or fresh really even though I am generally a fan of LG's books. It was like one of those children's books where you choose a head for your heroine then a bodice then a skirt and finally shoes from preset options.Virgin heroine drunk the first time they meet and wearing a formfitting dress, check off the "slut" mark. His married brother seems to be enamored of her, the nanny, and the brother's wife wants the hero's help to get her out, check off the "believes what others say about her rather than using his own judgment" markHe talks her into bed within 36 hours to prove she is a slut thereby making her lose her job, Check off the "delusional reasoning on the part of the holier than thou man whore" markHe ha... mored a bad time previously with a gold digger, check off the "all women are the same" mark.Pregnant first time out and a rushed unhappy wedding, check off "super sperm" mark. She overhears the particulars of the plot to get her away from the brother and immediately runs away Check off the "spineless ninny" mark. He finds her after she somehow manages to hide from the super rich sheikh for 18 months Check off the "he buys her place of employment to get to her" mark.Let's just go ahead and check off all the rest of the pertinent marks: blackmail using custody of child to force wife to move to random other country with him, random trouble making other woman, hero continues to be an ass and still refuses to believe his wife is not a lying slut, old king tries to make up too late for ignoring his son because of something the son's mother did, near death peril for the hero prince and apologies after the hero finds written proof of the heroine's story. Check, check, check, check. All this adds up to forgettable and same old same old and I'm not really buying the HEA but since I really didn't have much belief invested in the book, no biggie I guess.
review 2: I have read many Lynne graham books some are very good books few are disappointing, this book falls in my disappointing shelfHero Rasim is a Desert Prince who is brought with extreme discipline, his mother left his father n ran away with another man when he was a child later when he grows n takes on throne he meets Sophia whom he thought was a beautiful virgin woman n decided to marry her but media brought out the truth abt her how she is party animal, takes drugs and even has a smaller operation to intact the raptured hymen to make Rasim think she is a virgin so all this leads him to distrust any woman,This proud sheikh thinks he's doing his sister-in-law a favor by luring the nanny into a sexual relationship which leads to her having to leave their employ. Jasim believes again, his brother has shown bad judgment when it comes to the lovely young woman and is sure his brother will cause another family scandal. What he and his brother's wife don't know is that at one time Elinor's mother and Murad loved each other and that the man was only trying to protect her by offering her a job and had no interest in the lovely young woman. Elinor has always known since her mother died that her father had no use for her and was constantly belittling her. He called her stupid and nothing she could ever do pleased him. So as soon as she could she left home went to school to become a nanny and was thrilled when the crown prince offered her a job taking care of his daughter. Now she's had a horrible birthday and has come back to the estate and an empty house because the Rais family is on holiday. If that's not bad enough she encounters the most handsome man she's every seen in her life, Murad's brother who seduces, shames and tricks her into having leave her position.Being the proud, determined and hard working person she's become, Elinor is determined to find another position while Jasim has other ideas and wants her to live with him as his mistress. As fate would have it, he leaves on business, only to return and find that this young woman is pregnant so he demands they marry because if they don't, his heir won't be accepted. Just when one thinks things can't get more complicated, the wedding is a disaster and hurtful to Elinor due to lack of emotion and then she over hears a conversation between her new husband and Murad's wife which is so upsetting that she flees.Jasim after long months of looking for Elinor he finds her and his son, the son that will be the heir to the Quaram throne. As much as they both fight the physical it's still very much there and so is the mistrust, especially for Jasim. He still believes she was out to get something from Murad, he mistrusts her and does not believe her explanations because his past has taught him never to believe a woman.Throughout the book Jasmin think Elinor as a "Strumpet" when he sets to seduce her and later when she is his wife even calls her"Slut" on her face ,what kind of man is he who does'nt has a ounce of respect for his wife n mother of his child, keeps telling Elinor she is a gold-digger set out to trap him,his brother was old so when she saw him she took full advantage when many instances are in front of him which makes it clear Elinor is not interesting in his royalty n wealthElinor keeps taking all humiliation insults n also realises she loves him deeply n in the end when Jasim finds what elinor told abt his brothers n Elinor's mothers love was true,he apologisesI was very disappointed in this book n would like to ask questions-I understand when Rasim's mother ran away it will affect him in some ways but what happened with Sophia it was his mistake that he was fooled by her how can he mistrust all woman in general, when he knows his position is such many will take advantage he should have been careful-Also Elinor was shown running away without even confronting Rasim, leasts she should have told him she heard everything n how his plan is exposed n then runawayi gave 3 stars cause Rasim was a good father and later he becomes a good husband as well,Elinor though i do not support her for running away without confronting, but least she completed her degree n took a good job n was a awesome mother to Sami, though the story was hard to read in between but end was okay less

I really loved the theme, I did. But somehow I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the cover. :p
