review 1: The book was a little hard to get into in the beginning. It was slow moving. As the story progressed I found myself drawn to each character. While each woman is not described completely I had a definite picture of each one in my mind. The author then intertwined the story of one woman with another. Then the other two were joined. The story of how all the characters are connected made this a good book to read.
review 2: In Traps, Bezos has created four intriguing characters who made me want to keep reading. I cared about each of the women individually and as their paths slowly converged, I couldn't wait to figure out how they were related to one another and how they would eventually help each other.
