The Rarest Blooms
review 1: Castleford is definitely one of the most entertaining characters that I have read in a romance novel in a very long time. When he makes appearances in Ravishing in Red, Provocative in Pearls and Sinful in Satin he has this Tony Stark like charm what with all the boozing, carousing and womanizing that he enjoys and it made for very entertaining reads. I was very interested in reading his own story and it didn't disappoint.
review 2: This was not what I expected. The other books in the series made it seem, to me, like Daphne would be more experienced sexually. That was not the case. I was also not expecting the darker theme of this novel. I read the other three novels some time ago so I don't remember how they were written, but this novel seemed a bit too flowe
... morery. Sentences like "the pleasure was too luscious" left me more confused than anything. Seriously though, what does that mean? I enjoyed Castleford's antics, however. And the banter. And Castleford. He made me smile. less

It was slow starting out. But half way thru, the story finally started going and it was good.
