The Rarest Blooms
review 1: This story was not just a love story but also a story of women's rights, or lack thereof in the 19th century. Poor Verity, she was trampled on left and right, and it made this story so painful to read. Not like your typical romance with just a little twinge of angst. No, this really HURT. My heart pained for her. But oh, it made the ending just that much sweeter. Never fear, our dear H pulled through and the hurt was so worth the glorious pleasure of the romantic ending. Swoon. Highly recommend!
