review 1: The title, "Both Ways is the Only Way I Want It", echoed my teenage mantra. I was delighted to find such an enjoyable collection of short stories inside. The insights about different characters, whether they be teenagers or seniors, stand out more than any significant plot point. Normally, I am not a huge fan of short stories -- they usually leave things too "unfinished" for me. While this collection ties no plot up with a bow, each story is peek into lives of thoughts of Meloy's flawed and very human characters.

... morenships--adultery is almost in every story--the husband cheating on his wife with a younger woman. Not only did I find this tedious, it was boring, and there was not point to it. I was disappointed because this book received stellar reviews, so don't believe everything that you read! less
