review 1: I received a review copy of this book and was not disappointed with the content. As someone with an interest in the megalithic monuments of Europe, I found the book interesting. The ties to mythology were explored, as was the link to Atlantis. The research was thorough and I really liked the illustrations. Now I have learned about megalithic circles I was unaware of, in Ireland for example. So the book was a good read. I shall probably return to it as a reference book.
review 2: A text book style book, lots of pictures and diagrams to illustrate various theories about Megalith builders and how they managed to move stones around and why they placed them where they did. various theories abound within this book using some assumptions and proof which could be argue
... mored against in many ways. nevertheless an entertaining look at how places like Stonehenge came into being. Not quite my cup of tea but I am sure that there are many stargazers and historical students who would take a lot of interest in this. This was received as a Goodreads Giveaway. less
