review 1: For starters i should say that i just looove forbidden romance :3 i was so excited for this book when i read the summary and reviews and found out that it was about dark romance and all *swoons* .... at the start of the book i was so indulged in it!! i spent the whole night reading~ everything was as i liked~ the instant attraction *O* the tensions and the build up of their relationship... however after 50% of the book i found that their relationship was pretty much the same... and i really hated that the guy still thought about his ex-gf >_> i mean... how can you be all swoonie over the main characters when one of them still (apparently) loves his ex and as if it wasn't enough that girl had to be dead =.= the guy felt guilty and oh gosh i hated it!! well anyways it's not ... morelike the girl didn't piss me off or whatever!! i really tried not to get irritated with her at the beginning of the book but then at about 50% of the book i just couldn't >_< i was so damn irritated and pissed off with her that i could not continue reading! i mean what the fuck seriously?? you just sold yourself to whoever would take you but then you rebel and try to escape. refuse to be owned etc..? well girl you gotta make up ur damn mind coz i'm pretty sure "selling" urself means submitting -.-' you got someone whose's taking care of you, someone who at the least bit cares, gives you food, protects you, won't allow anyone to harm you, keeps you safe away from those who want to kill you and what do you do??? you freaking escape and why??? coz he fucking ONLY kept u in a damn basement? r u serious girl?? ok so u prefer going out where there're pple u can't trust and be constantly in danger and be homeless rather than staying with him!! well i gotta say ur fucking stupid =.= STAY WITH HIM IF U LIKE HIM FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!!!!! that's how i want my books to be anyways =.= u getting angry coz the guy's jealous? seriously?? well u bitch u should be happy instead of praising other guys in front of him BITCH =.='''' make up ur mind already either leave (and fucking die a painful death >_>) or stay the hell with him!!!!! at the least bit of insecure thought u gonna leave him? also from the start it fucking looked like each time they were involved sexually he was really rough and angry!! so why not say anything? ok i liked it apparently coz she was lusting and blah blah blah... i even came to a point where i thought she didn't love him but actually only wanted to have sex =.=' anyway why when u were practically begging him to take u WHY THE FUCKING HELL did u reject him that one time? u thought he was gonna rape you? WTF BITCH?? ur actually yearning for it but u call it rape? just shut the fuck up! wth is with those excuses u fucking whore... ur a pet freaking act like one.. and that douche had to respect her and apologize seriously? was she that damn scared??? THERE WERE WORSE SITUATIONS REALLY!! why why why???????? totally hate that part anyway >< well i officially detest you now =.= God seriously i need a better book! after all those deceiving happenings i decided to stop reading... it wasn't voluntary sincerely... i wanted to finish the book but i found myself just skimming through the pages and then i realised i lost that will to read and all the excitement i had >_> oh well great deception for me anyways
review 2: Autumn sold herself into sexual slavery to meet her need for shelter and food. She is then given as a gift to Tate who is quite the mystery hard hearted man at first. It begins as a Master/slave arrangement, but with time grows into something much more than that. There are secrets that Autumn keeps including another reason she sold herself. Tate has been on his own for some time, but he too has secrets he hasn't ever shared. These two people who seem so broken some together and remember what it is to care and be cared for, to trust and be trusted, to love and be loved. You can't help but want them to get past what haunts them and seek a new life outside of the darkness. I give Pieces of Autumn 4 hearts! less
