review 1: I picked this up on a whim in an airport and was immediately drawn in. Easy read with some twists and turns and a glimmer of humour amid some very dark parts. All was going well until about 85% of the way through when the plot took a turn I didn't care for one bit. And then the ending... bizarre! I had been all ready to loan this out but now am not sure I'd be doing people a favour ;) The last 15% forces me to downgrade this to a 3 star.
review 2: J'ai un peu moins aimé ce livre. Dès le début, je n'ai pas accroché, l'intrigue était sans intérêt. Il ne m'a pas fait voyager. Tout au long du livre, j'ai accroché un des personnages dans ma tête et je me suis dit que cette personne était la coupable. Les autres étaient sans importances. Le résultat? Je n... moree m'étais pas trompé de beaucoup car un lien s'est fait plus tard qui m'a fait douter de mon choix.Je ne donnerai pas de détails car chacun ses goûts.D'autres aimeront ce livre et certain resteront sur leur appétit. Ceci ne m’empêchera d'attendre et lire les prochains livres de Marc Lévy. less
