review 1: Like the main character, Sharlamagne, I have my own taboo words. I would blush at using the word sexy, at least, the 21 year old version of me did. So, I could really relate to Sharlamagne. I also paused in reading this book because I kept thinking, "Passion room? What kind of story is this?" So, here's the plot: Sharlamagne works for her Dad at his antique store. She's good at it, and really gets attached to one of the customers, Elisaveta. When Elisaveta dies years later, Sharlamagne is surprised that she has an inheritance. because of which, she starts spending more time with Elisaveta's hot grandson, Maxim. Great characters, a romance where I felt like they got to know one another, and a bit of a mystery to solve. One of my favorite contemporary romances. Pl... moreus Sharlamagne did really make me laugh out loud as she told people not to use the "s word".
review 2: I really enjoyed this book! The title would have sent up a red flag for me if it wasn't written by Marcia Lynn McClure. Usually the word passion is only used in a romance book when talking about the "s word"(you'll understand the reference if you've read the book). This book is all about people who feel really strongly about things or people ( or are very passionate about them). I really liked that this book championed deep passionate love in marriage. She also made it very clear that the swoon-worthy hero chose to be a virgin before marriage. That's even rarer then a clean romance. I read this right after reading a very serious book about the Irish Potato Famine. I think I picked the perfect author to cheer up with. A wonderful romance that had plenty of chemistry but not too much. Once again, I have to say Marcia Lynn McClure is the best at writing kisses. less

This one had a lot of passion in it (hence the title). Still not one of my favorites of hers though.
