review 1: I really enjoyed this book. I was looking forward to reading it again after I had read it aloud in one of my fields. It is an interesting book and I think it provides ample detail about different types of trees and its popularity. The whole book was interesting to me, but I really liked reading about the wide trees such as The Tree of One Hundred Horses. I would recommend this book to everyone including adults. It would be more suitable for older age groups due to its length and vocabulary. The book can be used when learning about history and nature. I would use it for students to pick a tree to research and write their own book about that tree.

It lived for more than 450 years before it was felled during a storm in 2002. If this tree could talk, it would tell the story of a birth of a nation. The Wye Oak was definitely a celebritree. Preus and Gibbon take the reader on a journey over time and across the globe to share fabulous stories of famous trees, often important and historical landmarks. less
