review 1: I felt like I never knew what was going on. When things finally started being explained, we were only given snippets at a time wedged between explosions, kidnappings, or fight scenes. It got to the point where I found all the action annoyingly distracting. I just wanted someone to tell me who these Outsiders were and what anyone's real agenda was. In the end, nothing is fully explained. The final scenes feel rushed and confusing and at the end I had more questions than I did in the beginning.
review 2: Inside Out and Outside In is a two book YA dystopian/science fiction series. It is fast paced, with a lot of twists and turns. In fact, once the action starts, it doesn't end. That is one of my few complaints, it's like 'wait, we're running for our lives
... moreand saving the world again?!' But I did enjoy the series. There is one intimate scene that might cross the line a bit for some of my goodreads friends, it is short. less

It was...eh. Good storyline, but the way it was written didn't draw me in so much.

I liked the first book more, but it was still awesome :D

A bit of a lackluster ending, but a solid sequel.
