review 1: I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this book yet. It was better than the second one but still not good enough for a 4. Opal sacrificed all her magic so she is obsessed and determined to find a way to get it back. Through her experiences she has become a different person and pushes away all the people she cares about. As for the end, part of me thinks eh ok I guess that was an ok way to end the series. And part of me thinks ew, I didn't like that at all. All in all a good little series but definitely not as good as the poison study series.
review 2: WOW! Ok so the ending was not what I expected but I really liked this book. I loved how Valek was in it and though it was frustrating because there was so much evil in the book and I just wanted to kill Finn and W... morealsh!!! Anyways I loved how everyone was in this book like Janco, Valek and Lief. The only thing that I didn't like was how she didn't end up with Kade... I just really wanted them to be together! Also how Opal slept with Devlin and Kade it didn't really fit her personality from the first book. less
