review 1: Rochelle Silvers Audiobook ReviewI have listened to the first three books of the Tallgrass series by Marilyn Pappano. What a wonderful series. Only a woman who's husband is in the military could understand the depth of pain a spouse would go through at the loss of ones partner/husband/lover. Marilyn's books has depth and insights into the psyche of each of the women she discusses in her books. Loretta Rawlins the narrater of these books is very good at bringing out the emotion of each story. This is a fabulous series and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to listening to more stories from the "margarita club".
review 2: I picked up this book because I won book two in this series from a goodreads giveaway and I don't like starting a series in... more the middle. I am really glad I did. Carly and Dane have had extreme loss in their lives and they both need to see past it to move on. They are wonderfully flawed characters surrounded by others also dealing with their own losses and life issues. I look forward to the continuation of this series and can't wait to hear the stories of those other characters. less
