review 1: My second novel by Gimenez and I will read more. My favorite aspect of this compelling read is the juxtaposition of the actions and intents of the several characters, each with his or her own agenda and the skillful junction of each. I rated this a 5-star even though the story was a little slow to get into; however once I got into the story, the beginning heightened my anticipation of the ending.
