review 1: This book is an inspiring book because it teaches you what bullying does to those who are bullied and what could happen to a bully. The main character is named Todd who has a friend named Ricardo. The book is said from your view and makes you want to be in it or apart of it. It is a book to LOVE! I think you would like this book. To call this an amazing and well-written book is totally accurate. It will make you look at the world in a new perspective.
review 2: Munn, Munnster, Mrs. Munn, Pops, these are all nicknames of Tod Munn, your average high school bully, who lives a rough life in poverty and struggles in his everyday life. Tod writes his whole story about his troubles in and out of school and encounters with other students in a notebook in the middle of
... more after-school detention. Tod starts off the story as the wise guy bully who refuses to change and is only writing in detention because otherwise he’d have to rake leaves outside. As the story grows and becomes more in depth, Tod does too. You start seeing the softer side of him, especially when talking to a certain girl. Two of Tod’s three friends turn on him as he starts changing from his old ways, causing even more troubles for Mr. Munn. The main conflict for Tod is finding himself and being able to live his life as not being a bully. At the end of the story Tod gets out of detention and finds out that he hasn’t been the bully all along, but that he’s been bullied by all of the other kids in the school, and he comes to accept himself. less
