review 1: I really liked this book. I have read & enjoyed quite a few of Maquita Valentine's other series, Holland Springs, & loved them all. Judging by this book this series will be just as good.The main characters, Violet Rae/Lynn & Cole are both broken. Together they seem to find a way back from the pain of their past. This is a great story with lots of heat! Looking forward to the next book in this series.
review 2: This sweet love story is really about redemption on so many levels. Both Cole and Violet are struggling with issues from their past and their family dynamics. There are things that connect them together that I'm sure that will be explored further in the next addition to this series. I loved the strength of character of Cole; he is devoted to his siblings ... moreand working hard to make their business successful. Rae is struggling to forgive herself and to recapture joy in her life, which happens to be Cole. I love their connection and the growth of their relationship. I hope that future books will share the stories of Wyatt, Parker and possibly Beau. There is also a possible story with Jaxon, but I'm not liking him right now, so I'm not sure that I would want to know more about him, lol. Anyway, I looking forward to more in this series; it's off to a great start. less
