review 1: Something about this book just rubs me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, its not the worst book i ever read. It won't even make it on the top 10 list. But the book just tried to hard. It attempted to make so many stories, weave together so many subplots and the end result was such a disaster. it just tried to hard to be deep! I feel like if the author let it be more chick-lit-ish it would make more sense and be overall more interesting to read.
review 2: The strength behind this book is its voice. All of the characters are loud, in your face, and quintessentially adolescent. The downside? There's too many people to keep track of. They all have secrets--thus the title--and after the third or fourth tragic history I could not be bothered to try and keep track of
... more them anymore. I enjoyed it well enough, but it deserved a tighter focus or more length to explore the quantity of issues brought up. less

Well-written, but felt like it was missing a central point. Never got to the heart of the story.

It was ok. Readable and decent. To many subplots and characters, loose ending
