review 1: The book I chose to pair with this is Brother Eagle Sister Sky by Chief Seattle. I realize this is not the most obvious pairing but I think both books have a message of conservation and respect for the environment and mans place in to. Can We Save the Tiger discusses endangered species and mans affect on animal populations and out responsibility to save endangered species. Brother Eagle Sister Sky conveys a message that we must respect the earth and all it has on it.

From the beautiful tiger to the less than fortunately looking vulture, animals of varied beauty and siz... moree need the help of many if they are going to remain a resident of Planet Earth. Martin Jenkins narrative was unique in the way that he seems to be giving a conversational lesson right to the reader. Vicky White is a tremendously talented artist who with little more than a pencil brought each creature to life on the page. A perfect book! less
