The Engagement Plot by Krista Phillips

William and Hanna took part in a reality TV dating show, The Price of Love. William proposed to Hanna at the end of the show, but then made a comment not honoring her Christian life and she broke the engagement. For six months Hannah has struggled with the press. She has quit her teaching job and has moved home with her father near Embarrass, Minnesota.

The company William works for is having problems and William convinces Hannah to pretend to be engaged to him to help turn the company around.

The Engagement Plot is a good clean romance that is fast paced and well written. There is some suspense in the story with what is happening with William’s company. The part of the story that really spoke to me was Hanna’s determination to have her Christian faith be respected with her dating William on the show. I also enjoyed the author’s portrayal of the cold, snow and mud in Minnesota. The story will be enjoyed by those who enjoy Christian romance stories.

I received a copy of this book from Barbour Publishing. This is my honest review.
