review 1: Summary: Hal and his little dog Billy calmly deal with a dinosaur's monstrous temper tantrum.The dino tries to eat Hal's parents but Hall won't let him. They he tries to eat the little dog. Dino runs after the dog, while Hal and Billy trap him with a hose. After he breaks down and says he gives up, the hungry dinosaur is sad because he has nothing to eat. Hal's mom makes him a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. The Super Hungry Dino is now a Super Full Dino. Happy ending.
review 2: This went over well in preschool story time. The art is awesome; I just love it, and the kids liked the story and liked giggling over it. They talked about a lot of the elements, like Hal capturing the dinosaur with the garden hose (they needed a little help understanding what had ... morehappened), and what Hal's mom fed the dinosaur in the end. Lots of fun details to pick up, especially for a small story time crowd. less
