review 1: It was a short and sweet composition of two quirky stories. I expected to enjoy them a bit more, knowing how well Balogh usually writes, but I wasn't horribly disappointed in the two. The book is a part of her early works, so it's only natural that her later works are better written with more developed characters and plots. That being said, both heroines and heroes have unique personalities that carry the stories along quite well. The two stories are a good pastime. I enjoyed them.

The name suited him perfectly, being one of those that might belong to either a man or a woman."). Reading about individuals is always interesting. Reading about paragons is not. Or, as Miss Austen said, "Pictures of perfection, as you know, make me sick and wicked." ;-) less
