review 1: A short book, quick read. I liked this, but I would have enjoyed it more had I not guessed the secret early on. After it was confirmed and I finished the book, I re-read some of the scenes/ thoughts of Reggie and Anna, and I can say I really liked how the author worded everything. Nothing too obvious, nothing that you can go back later and say, but if that's how it was, this shouldn't have been done (in other words, no false statements-red herrings yes, lies no).
review 2: An entertaining, quick read but by chapter 2 I had already predicted the twist ending, so in that regard it was a bit disappointing. I kept thinking maybe I had it wrong and there really would be some twist I hadn't seen coming but it played out exactly how I expected it to. I did enjoy the ... morecharacter development and dialogue though and how the author sort of slowly points you to the ending with the flashbacks. less
