review 1: I really loved this story. I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. This was a really sweet sexy story about Weber and Cyrus. Weber is an orphaned bull rider who is getting older and can no longer do what he wants because is body can no longer take it. Weber is use to roaming the country with no family, roots, money, or a place to call home. Cyrus is a wealthy neurosurgeon with a large extended family. They are worlds apart but fit together perfectly. They both love each other deeply, but Weber does not know how to fit into Cyrus life. Cyrus does not care about what Weber does not have, he just wants him there. It's not until Cyrus nephews come along that Weber realizes what his worth is. The interactions between the boys and Weber are so very sweet and perfect. I ... moreloved how accepting Cyrus family was and how they let Weber know they appreciated what he brought to Cyrus. This story is a great example of it does not matter what you do or do not have, it's what you can bring into a relationship to make it the best it can be. Weber was definitely a mountain. The only negative thought I have is I really would have liked more backstory on Cyrus and Weber's relationship. We only get one look and that is when they met. This was a very sweet, sexy, emotional at times, shorter read that I highly recommend.
review 2: Wow. Simply wow. I bought the audiobook version of this story and it only made the whole thing better. I simply fell in love with the story from the get go. The characters were sweet. The kids are absolutely adorable and Cyrus and Webber are incredible together. I never thought I would find a rare treasure such as this. I would go back and reread this whenever I have time. For people who are not fan of this book, I understand their point of view. This book is different from typical romance book for its lack of conflict. There are some tension points but it isn't serious. I can't say much without spoiling the story but if you're looking for heavy angst, this isn't for you. Although at some points, the story did bring me to tears, It was mostly because how cute and romantic it was rather because how sad it was. This story just felt fantastic and a great pick me up for bad days.I love the writing style and for someone who usually despises first person point of view, this story is one of the rare exception. Seeing life through Webber's eyes as he falls for Cyrus more and more each day, is simply unbelievably heartwarming. I have to admit that there are some really predictable elements but I prefer to think they add rather than take away from the appeal this book had for me. All in all, frog is a heartwarming tale about falling in love, finding where you belong and accepting yourself. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a book with wonderful writing who will definitely make them smile and cry and love it for that. less
