review 1: Ellen Bradford is a high powered attorney who sets out to fulfill her dying grandmothers wish to deliver a letter to someone in a small town in Maine. Ellen is welcomed into the small town and begins her search to deliver the letter. Ellen finds out that her grandmother had a different life to what she always thought she had and when she was young she was a talented artist but gave that up when she fell in love and moved away from Beacon. Ellen always thought she was destined to marry someone she works with but things turn out very differently when she meets the nephew of the man she is supposed to deliver the letter to.
review 2: This is Mary Simses first novel … and I really loved and enjoyed it. I hope there will be more to come!!Following her grandmoth
... moreer's dying wish, Ellen Branford tries to deliver a letter to a stranger in a small town in Maine. An attorney and city girl … she first nearly drowns and is saved by a sexy builder who she ends up impulsively kissing, starting a string of complications to her well-orderd, well-planned life and future. How Ellen's "mission" to fulfill her grandmother's wishes - and to learn more about the grandmother she thought she knew, but obviously didn't, - and how she wrestles with the changes in her own feelings - makes for a fun and delightful read. less

Time to stop reading the really light, more predictable books. Really ok, again, as a fun book.
