Fall in love with the de La Vega cat shifters in this classic paranormal romance from New York Times bestselling author Lauren Dane, a spinoff of the fan-favorite Cascadia Wolves series
The very magick that brought them together now makes them targets…
Kendra Kellog may have found her sister, but she’s still miles away from bringing down the evil mages targeting her family. Max de La Vega is exactly what she doesn’t need at this moment in time—strong, smart and the very definition of alpha.
The next in line to run his jaguar jamboree, Max is used to getting what he wants. Right now, he wants Kendra. More than that, he realizes she needs him—and he’ll do whatever it takes to guarantee her safety.
With evil forces out to siphon her magick, Kendra can’t afford to keep pushing Max away. And for once, Max’s cat and his man are in total agreement: Kendra is his to protect.
This is book 2 in the de La Vega Cats series. Whereby, two long lost sisters reunited to find justice for their mother who was murdered by their father. However, it will take more than just the two of them. One sister will find the ability to overcome her past and the other will learn that it’s okay to be who she was born to be.
I just couldn’t get into this story, even though I completed the entire book. I just didn’t get that spark that I normally get from reading a shifter romance. Revelation wasn’t memorable; though this book was a full-length title it felt more like a novella than anything else. I was getting into the book and it just ended. It was like watching a movie and then you get that black screen with the words “To Be Continued” well that is the way this book ended. Very disappointed in this title. A Cascadia Wolves this wasn’t.
I guess that is the difference between wolves and cats.
Lauren Dane The story goes like this – While on pregnancy bed rest, Lauren Dane had plenty of down time so her husband took her comments about “giving that writing thing a serious go” to heart and brought home a secondhand laptop. She wrote her first book on it before it gave up the ghost. Even better, she sold that book and never looked back.Today Lauren is a New York Times bestselling author of over fifty novels and novellas across several genres.
