The Autistic Brain: Thinking Across the Spectrum is written by Temple Grandin, a writer with autism. She is probably the most known person with autism now. Using her personal experience, she tried to describe this illness from insight. She wrote different stories and her personal observations. In addition, she tried to describe three types of thinkers: picture thinkers, word\fact thinkers and pattern thinkers (she named herself as a picture thinker). Dr. Grandin says that all brains are different, and people who suffer from autism think in their own way, but they have to develop it and use it.

The book was published in 2013 and made a big splash. The readers have a good opportunity to clearly understand how autism influences on people's lives.
