review 1: I have to say that honestly I don't think I'm going to like reading this book. I wasn't sure why though. Maybe it's the art (a bit different than vk, maybe?) or the cliché story line. I don't know why I think it's cliché, but I just thought that it was. But since it is Hino-sensei's work, I thought maybe I should give it a try. The starting of the story doesn't seem too promising to me and I don't expect to be mind blown by it as well, but even so I continued on reading hoping that the effort is worthwhile. And since it's written by the young Hino-sensei, I have to say that this manga showed the innocence side of her? Whatever. It's just gave that kind of impression. The characters are funny and weird as well (in a good way). I kind of like SuzukaxMegumi pairing. But ... moreI also like Rui-chan. And I think I kind of also like young Yoshimi-chan. He's cute! What makes the manga so refreshing is that probably the story line somewhat different, the eccentricity of some characters but still gives the manga a light feelings and Suzuka's innocent-ness and also how each characters value friendship and love.
review 2: This series is hilarious and adorable! Equal parts romantic comedy and fairy tale, it winds the two genres together to create a very interesting and enjoyable whole. The series had me laughing constantly, while still allowing me to enjoy the more touching sides. On another note, I really enjoyed and admired the trans side-character -- her inclusion was interesting and I thought she was handled well.Overall, I'm VERY glad this went beyond being just a one-shot, as it was originally meant to be! less
