review 1: Being a huge fan of HIMYM I was instantly drawn to Barney's play book. It sat on my shelf until in the most recent episode Teds crazy girlfriend destroyed Barney's play book. That got me thinking what was really inside of the book. I opened mine and was instantly hooked, it was as if I was in Barney's imagination, which is not as scary as one may think. Unfortunately these plays are all way to ridiculous to ever consider using.
review 2: This one is better than Bro on the Go, but not as original as the Bro Code. The jokes get a bit old and lack much creativity in the actual joke part. There are some good ones and near the end there is a little bit of social/political satire which is a nice surprise. The biggest downfall of the book is that it repeats many o... moref the jokes shown on the show. Not a big deal if you don't watch the show, but if you don't watch it, why are you reading this book? Fun, quick, although easily the most offensive of the three How I Met Your Mother Books, it is still an enjoyable time for the hour or so it will take to read it. less
