Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls
review 1: I read a book over the summer. It was about a girl named Allie who's mom is a small town tv star. Allies friends are going to a baton twirling competition and she is invited but lies to them; so she can ride in a limo, go to Glitterati, eat at the Cheese Cake Factory, and spend the night at a nice hotel. But it didn't turn out to well for her. She wasn't happy at how they were treating her. What will she do? What will happen?
review 2: When Allie chooses snobby Brittany Hauser's birthday party (to Glitterati, The Cheesecake Factory and a 5 star hotel to watch the Jonas Brother's movie on Pay-Per-View!) over spending the day with her best friends watching Erica's older sister compete at the regional baton twirling competition, she begins to feel like the odd one
... more out. Through the rude behavior of mean girls and the rekindling of an old friendship, Allie learns being with the people you care about is better than all the Glitterati in the world.I absolutely LOVED Allie Finkle! The story lines were funny, cute and able to be related too! I didn't think there were any "in the middle awkward books" in the series that were inferior to their predecessors, they were all wonderful! less
