review 1: I loved this book and the entire Song of Eloh saga. I couldn't put it down once I started. Honestly, I would have rated this particular novella a 5 if it hadn't left me with a number of questions that the series hadn't answered. I bought the entire series together as a set, with this one as the lead book. I read the other six books trying to figure out who the people at the end of this novella were going to be in the other books. All in all, a really good series. I'm glad I stumbled across it.
review 2: it's a short story and i have to say the author did a great job drawing you in and creating a world and characters in so few pages... this was supposedly a book to tie 2 other series together... i've never read anything else by this author and even so was able t
... moreo enjoy it so much i went and got Anathema by her... theres not much to say but this is a world that's lost it's magic and is willing to do anything to get it back... hopefully her other books are just as good... less
